Rights, Responsibilities and Obligations of IMFA Students
Rights
- Students have the right to receive tuition in the modules for which they have been registered.
- Students once registered have the right of membership to the IMFA community
- Students have the right to present a complaints letter to the administration in event of anything that concerns them.
Responsibilities
- It is your responsibility to enter for ACCA exams
- The school reserves the right to dismiss any student for non payment of fees at any time. No fees will be refunded for any student dismissed under this section.
- Fees are published separately for each semester and are payable by all students studying at the time unless they have paid full fees prior to publication of new fees. Paying a deposit does not prevent any fee increase being applied
- All fees exclude amounts payable to the professional body for student registration, exemptions and examination entries.
- The college reserves the right to dismiss any student at anytime for unprofessional actions.
Obligations
- Students have the obligations of observing the rules and regulations governing modules by fully registering for a module before lectures.
- Respect and obey constitutional authorities of the institution
- Students are expected to act with integrity, courtesy and respect towards other students and lecturers.
- Pay full fees at rates determine and obtain a student ID card
- Students must pay the session registration fee of Fcfa 5,000 before their enrolment for the session can be complete
Discipline
- students are expected to be present in all their classes
- unauthorized absence from classes for up to 3 weeks should be justified
- Students are expected to follow lectures quietly and not act in any manner that disturbs the class
- Students should not be found smoking or drinking strong liquor on campus.
