Rights, Responsibilities and Obligations of IMFA Students

Rights

1. Students have the right to receive tuition in the modules for which they have been registered.
2. Students once registered have the right of membership to the IMFA community
3. Students have the right to present a complaints letter to the administration in event of anything that concerns them.

Responsibilities

1. It is your responsibility to enter for ACCA exams
2. The school reserves the right to dismiss any student for non payment of fees at any time. No fees will be refunded for any student dismissed under this section.
3. Fees are published separately for each semester and are payable by all students studying at the time unless they have paid full fees prior to publication of new fees. Paying a deposit does not prevent any fee increase being applied
4. All fees exclude amounts payable to the professional body for student registration, exemptions and examination entries.
5. The college reserves the right to dismiss any student at anytime for unprofessional actions.

Obligations

1. Students have the obligations of observing the rules and regulations governing modules by fully registering for a module before lectures.
2. Respect and obey constitutional authorities of the institution
3. Students are expected to act with integrity, courtesy and respect towards other students and lecturers.
4. Pay full fees at rates determine and obtain a student ID card
5. Students must pay the session registration fee of Fcfa 5,000 before their enrolment for the session can be complete

Discipline

1. students are expected to be present in all their classes
2. unauthorized absence from classes for up to 3 weeks should be justified
3. Students are expected to follow lectures quietly and not act in any manner that disturbs the class
4. Students should not be found smoking or drinking strong liquor on campus.
