Corporate Profile

Created in May 2005 the Institute of Management and Financial Accounting is one of the fastest growing English business schools in Cameroon, and attracts students from all provinces of the nation. This academic structure provides opportunity for both French and English speaking students to sit comfortably for exams written in English.
It all started with three of the present lecturers who identified the need for quality tuition to be provided to ACCA students.
Later in August 2005 a partnership of six was established and launched tuition provision for 9 ACCA courses.
We obtained our registration as a common initiative group in September 2005 and have been operating under this status
The classes gradually grew fro 5 students per class to an average of 30 students and above per class in 2006. In 2007 classes grew up to 80 students per class in part 1.
IMFA equally introduced the CAT qualification and the professional level of the ACCA qualification in 2007.
Our outstanding performance and constant growth is a product of our dynamic lecturing team.
Our lecturing team grew from 7 lecturers in 2005 to 14 lecturers in 2007. With all lecturers working with passion to see that students succeed.
Over 300 ACCA students in Cameroon have taken lectures in IMFA.

Mission and Vision

We aim at providing standard and quality business training to students in Cameroon and all over Africa, so they can adequately face the increasing challenges of the public and private sector.
Providing tuition to students desiring to sit for and obtain international recognized certificates and enhance their marketability all over the globe is our goal.
We will therefore continually seek to collaborate with other centers of higher education in and out of the country and where possible with other relevant and interested stakeholders to enhance our competitiveness and to provide high standard and quality services most relevant to our environment
